Volunteer Today

All Saints Catholic School is a busy, vibrant community. We rely on parent and grandparent volunteers in ways that public schools do not. We offer many opportunities for families to become active within our community both during the day, evening, or weekends. 

We are fortunate to have a parent community rich in varied talents and gifts which benefit the entire school community.  Families are also required to complete 15 hours per year. Hours can be completed by parents or grandparents, and can include:

  • Lunch and Recess Help 
  • Reading, Copy, and Room Parents
  • Office Help
  • Sacristan Help
  • Sports concessions
  • Auction –Both at the event and preparation before
  • PAC Events such as Science Night and Fun Fair

If you’re interested in volunteering, you are required, per the Archdiocese of Detroit, to complete the Protecting God’s Children course. Information on this program can be found at www.virtus.org, and courses are available both in person and online. You must also print and complete the forms below and return them to our school office:

Lunch and Recess

All Lunch and Recess volunteers must complete the steps above, as well as agree to follow the Lunch and Recess Handbook. 

We use SignUp Genius to organize our lunchroom volunteer sign-up. For the 2023-2024 school year, the lunchroom is asking volunteers to sign up for the entire lunch period, which runs from 11:20 a.m. to 12:55 p.m.  This covers the lunches of K-8.

Grades 1-2  11:20-11:40 a.m
Grades K, 7, 8  11:45a-12:05p
Grades 3-4  12:10-12:30 p.m.
Grades 5-6  12:35-12:55 p.m.
 

Volunteers are needed to help with recess. Students will have outdoor recess unless there is rain, or if temperatures are below 10 degrees. We cannot allow younger siblings on the playground. If you have any recess questions, please contact Kathie Kennedy at [email protected].

Parent Activity Committee (PAC)
