Kindergarten

The All Saints kindergarten program exceeds the curriculum standards established by the state of Michigan by incorporating the Core Knowledge® Sequence in all kindergarten classrooms. The full-day kindergarten program is designed to ensure that every student reaches his or her academic potential through a positive school experience. The program provides rich learning opportunities in all academic areas including:

Grades 1-3

Our first through third grade classrooms are all self-contained rooms where students are exposed to a wide variety of learning activities. The classroom teacher instructs religion, language arts (reading, English, spelling, phonics, and handwriting), math, science, and social studies. Religion is taught on a daily basis, which allows students to learn Catholic tradition and live out their faith. Students are also exposed to enrichment classes, taught by other certified teachers, which include computer technology, art, music, physical education, library, and Spanish throughout the week.

Grades 4-6

Our fourth through sixth grade classrooms work as grade level teams, allowing teachers to collaboratively work with all students within a given grade. Teachers specialize in specific content areas based on their teaching degree endorsements. Students are assigned to one homeroom teacher and rotate as a homeroom class throughout the school day.

Students are also exposed to enrichment classes throughout the week, taught by other certified teachers. These classes include computer, art, music, physical education, and Spanish throughout the week.

All Saints Catholic School curriculum uses the Core Knowledge Sequence supported by Common Core Standard Skills in alignment with the Michigan Department of Education.
