Blue Ribbon Saints

ASCS: Blue Ribbon School

In October 2025,  All Saints has been recognized as a 2025 Blue Ribbon School by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and the Council for American Private Education (CAPE). The Blue Ribbon Schools Program, endorsed by MDE and CAPE, honors public and private elementary, middle, and high schools for their overall academic excellence.

All Saints joins the ranks of schools that meet the criteria for Exemplary High Performing Schools whose student achievement in the most recent school year ranks in the top 15 percent nationwide in reading (or English language arts) and mathematics, based on a nationally normed test. Through a thorough application and evaluation process compiled over years of effort from our staff, this award recognizes our standing as an academically excellent school, but it also highlights the elements that make us stand apart. The cornerstone of the Blue Ribbon application is the identification of the factor that has been the most instrumental to the school’s success. Below is the ASCS team answer:

“Our commitment to the mission of All Saints Catholic School has been the most instrumental practice in our success. The four fundamental values of our mission (academic excellence, service to others, community building, and sharing our faith) drive every decision in and out of the classroom. Throughout our 27-year history, the leadership team has reviewed and examined the school’s mission several times in collaboration with various constituents. Each time the mission’s wording has been revised or improved, it has been done to reflect the direction of the school’s growth and desire to improve while considering the needs and demographics of the community at large. While these variables inevitably change, the desire for academic excellence, service to others, community building, and sharing our faith has remained constant.

The 60-plus individuals who make up our administration, faculty, and staff are the driving force behind this mission. Teachers and staff members often volunteer to lead clubs, attend school sporting events on personal time, and even choose to send their children to the school because of their deep personal commitment to our mission. Sixteen staff members have served our community for over 10 years, while six have served for more than 20 years. Additionally, six of our teaching staff are All Saints Catholic School alumni.  We work together as a family to fulfill the mission daily while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment to grow leaders in mind, body, and spirit."

Each and every one of our staff lives our mission, raising our students to live it as well. We could not do this without the steadfast support of our families and friends who provide sustaining funds and countless volunteers hours and prayers. In order to celebrate this landmark achievement, we will be celebrating as a schoolwide community on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. This day will be a Spirit Day for all students, with Mass and special assemblies. We hope you will join us in praising God for all He has provided through our community's work and hands.
